Anthony Green was born in Doylestown in 1982 and began his musical journey in high school by forming the band Junction 232 with classmate and musician Tommy Dougherty. They recruited other musicians and changed their name to Audience of One. They released an album (I Remember When This All Meant Something) and an EP before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2000. In 2007 he announced he was starting his solo career and he released his debut solo album (Avalon) in August of the following year. The album hit #44 on the US Billboard 200 chart and he followed it up with an EP (Jackie Haenn) to help his cousin-in-law's pay for her medical costs after she was injured in a car accident. His second studio album (Beautiful Things) came out in January 2012 and hit #27 on the aforementioned chart. He describes the album as being about “…people and the victories you have with them" and his latest album The Pixie Queen is currently available for pre-order.
