Bob Moses, Canada’s sensational electronic, alternative, and dance music artists are bringing their signature sounds to Paradise Rock Club!
Bob Moses is an electronic music duo consisting of Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie. They’re childhood friends who shared a love for California punk, Northwest grunge, and minimalist electronic music. They both moved to New York at different times and ended up running into each other there and decided to start making music together. Jimmy’s and Tom’s respective backgrounds in trance and rock music allowed them to experiment with different sounds and after working together for a year, they showed their work to Brooklyn-based record label Scissor and Thread. The label liked what they heard and the duo released their first 2 extended plays (Hands to Hold, Far from the Tree) under it. In March 2014, they shifted to another record label (Domino Records) and released their first extended play under it (First to Cry) in June the same year. They released their debut studio album (Days Gone By) in 2015 and a year later, they released its special edition, titled Days Gone By: Never Enough Edition. They’ve also performed at many renowned events and venues such as Bowery Ballroom, TomorrowWorld, Ultra Music Festival, Governors Ball, Fabric, and this year, they’ll be playing at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Melt!, and Sonar.
