Sensational country music artists Cody Jinks and Whitey Morgan are bringing their signature sounds to Paradise Rock Club!

Cody Jinks is the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of thrash metal band Unchecked Aggression. The band was formed in 1997 with Cody saying “I basically wanted to be James Hetfield.” Over the years the band developed a large fan base but the band split in 2003 and Cody returned to the music he listened to as a child. He says, “I grew up with country music, with some rock ’n’ roll mixed in, and I came back to it.” He took some time off after Unchecked Aggression’s split and then focused on developing his country music career. His music, while very much country, evolved to have a more personal singer-songwriter feel to it. Regarding his first record he says, “I didn’t know what else to do. I’d just come off the metal scene, and I didn’t know what country scenes were — I just started covering songs I liked, and that had a pretty big Nashville feel to it.” He’s a relentless touring machine and he’s released 4 studio albums. Whitey Morgan and the 78's is a honky tonk country band formed in Flint (Michigan) in 2005. They’ve had a stellar career with 3 studio albums and they’ve won 3 Detroit Music Awards.

Don’t miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to country music!
