Drake White and The Big Fire, Alabama’s sensational country artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
Drake White was born in Hokes Bluff (Alabama) and is a singer and songwriter who’s musical style blends country with elements of blues, funk, rock and roll, and reggae music. He began his musical journey by singing in his local church choir. When he was 14 he got a guitar from a neighbor who played bluegrass and he also started writing his own songs. He performs with his band The Big Fire (consisting of Adam Schwind - drums, Philip Pence - bass, Matt McDaniel - guitar, and Jon Aanestad - fiddle) and he makes sure its name appears alongside his every time they perform. He said in in interview, “Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Springsteen and the E Street Band – they’re the reason that I wanted a band. I know that there’s individual artists out here who are going out and doing their thing and that’s great, but I wanted a group of guys that wanted to be out here and wanted to build something special. Who wanted to be not behind me, but beside me. I wanted folks that were dedicated, I didn’t want hired guns to come and just do it for a paycheck… So I put that name in there to give them incentives to come out here and be a part of something special.” They’ve released 2 studio albums, 1 extended play, 4 singles, and 2 music videos.
Don’t miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to country music!
