Gogol Bordello, New York’s sensational gypsy-punk artists, are bringing you their theatrical stage shows as they tour venues world-wide. The venue and date for their performance are Paradise Rock Club (967 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston) and 5th April 2016 (8 PM).
The band was formed in 1999 and its name is inspired by its ideological role model, Russian-Ukrainian writer, Nikolai Gogol. The band has had a stellar career with 7 studio albums, 1 EP and 6 compilation albums. They’re also a relentless touring machine and have performed tirelessly across the US and Europe. Lead singer Eugene Hütz appeared in the 2005 film ‘Everything is Illuminated’ starring Elijah Wood. In 2012 they recorded a single (Let’s Get Crazy) for Coca-Cola’s UEFA Euro 2012 ad campaign.
