Hard Working Americans, sensational jam-band and alternative-country artists, are bringing you their signature sounds as they tour venues across the nation.
The band was formed in 2012 by Todd Snider (lead vocals) when he decided it was time to work with musicians his own age for a change. With that in mind he recruited bassist Dave Schools (from Widespread Panic), Neal Casal (of Chris Robinson Brotherhood) on guitar and vocals, Chad Staehly (of Great American Taxi) on keyboards, Duane Trucks (drums), and Jesse Aycook (guitar, lap steel). They had their first live performance at the Colorado Flood Relief fund raiser in 2013 and followed it up with a nation-wide tour. For their debut album Todd combined material from songs by artists whom he considers perfect, along with his song-writing ability to create a set of cover tunes about the frustrations of working life. The self-titled album was released in January 2014 and was met with favorable reviews from critics.
