Kodaline, Ireland's sensational alternative rock artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
The band was formed (under the moniker 21 Demands) in Dublin (Ireland) in 2005 and currently consists of Steve Garrigan (vocals, rhythm guitars, keyboards, harmonica, and mandolin), Mark Prendergast (lead guitars, keyboards, and vocals), Vincent May (drums, percussion, and vocals), and Jason Boland (bass guitar, and vocals). Their musical style is best described as a blend of alternative rock (a style of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1980s and became widely popular in the 1990s), adult alternative pop/rock (a branch of alternative rock - emerging after the genre's absorption into the mainstream – featuring a smooth, melodic, radio friendly style that packages alternative's mellower side for wider consumption), and indie pop (a sub genre of alternative/indie rock originating in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and differing from indie rock to the extent that it’s more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst free). They’ve had a stellar career with 2 studio albums (both #1 hits on the Irish chart), 4 extended plays, 10 singles, 7 music videos, and they've collaborated with renowned Norwegian tropical house artist Kygo. Their latest album (Politics of Living) comes out in August 2018.
Don't miss your chance to see the Irish quartet that specializes in soaring, radio ready guitar rock similar to Coldplay, Keane, U2, and Oasis!
