Matt Nathanson, Massachusetts' sensational alternative rock artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!

Matt Nathanson was born in Lexington (Massachusetts) in 1973 and is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His musical style is best described as a blend of alternative rock (a style of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1980s and became widely popular in the 1990s), adult alternative pop/rock (a branch of alternative rock - emerging after the genre's absorption into the mainstream – featuring a smooth, melodic, radio friendly style that packages alternative's mellower side for wider consumption), and folk music. He’s had a stellar career with 10 studio albums (3 of which were top 10 hits on Billboard's Top rock Albums chart), 2 live albums, 3 extended plays, 7 music videos, and 18 singles. He's best known for his 2007 single (Come On Get Higher) hitting #3 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary as well as Adult Alternative songs charts. It's also been certified Gold in Canada and Platinum in the US. One of his tracks was used as the theme song for 2016's World Series of Poker and he's also collaborated/performed with many renowned bands and artists such as Gavin DeGraw, Train, Sugarland, Lolo, and The Fray.
