Randy Houser, Mississippi's sensational country artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!

Shawn Randolph (Randy) Houser was born in Lake (Mississippi) in 1975 and is a singer and songwriter. He was introduced to music by his father (a professional musician) and he learned to play the guitar at an early age. By the time he was 10 years old, he was leading his own band and in college, he formed the band 10 lb Biscuit. In 2002 he moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a professional songwriter and he had a breakthrough in 2005 with the single Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. He co-wrote the song with fellow country artists Dallas Davidson, Jamey Johnson, and it was recorded by country music singer and actor Trace Adkins. The song peaked at number 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and Shawn decided to change his focus from songwriting to performing. It wasn’t long before he got a record deal and he released his debut single (Anything Goes) in May 2008. He went on to have a stellar career with 5 studio albums, 15 singles, and 10 music videos. He’s been nominated for 3 Country Music Association Awards, 3 CMT Music Awards, and 2 Academy of Country Music Awards.
