Saint JHN, New York's sensational hip hop artist is bringing his signature sounds to Paradise Rock Club!
Saint JHN (birth name Carlos Saint John) is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Brooklyn. He began his musical journey by writing songs for other artists and in 2016, he started releasing his own material. His rapping style has changed a lot since he started his career. It was quite aggressive initially but over the years, it's become more melodious. He said in an interview, "I was rapping because there were so many things that I wanted to say. There weren't enough words for me to articulate all of the things that I wanted to say in a three minute song. It was less musical than it is now...I just had things I wanted to to get off of my chest. I might've been angry — I'm a little less angry now...What I talk about now is a little bit more reflective of my most recent experiences like falling in love for the first time and life as an adult. The pallets are a little bit softer so it's less angry and it's more evocative...I think it's challenging trying to describe my sound." He's released 5 singles and he's collaborated with many renowned artists such as Kiesza, Nico and Vinz, Gorgon City, Usher, Jidenna, and dvsn.
