San Fermin

14th April 2016 - Thursday 20:30

San Fermin, Brooklyn’s sensational baroque pop artists, are bringing you their signature sounds as they tour venues across the nation.

The band was formed after composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone finished his musical studies at Yale University. While there, honed his craft by working with composer Nico Muhly who’s famous for collaborating with renowned artists Björk, Grizzly Bear, Antony and the Johnsons. After graduation Ellis recruited fellow musicians and their eponymous debut album was released in 2013. New Yorker magazine praised the group for their ability to "deliver epic and emotion-laden rock, with glorious and operatic vocals, electronic break beats, horns, strings, and other flourishes."

Don’t miss your chance to see these artists deconstruct indie pop with their bizarre arrangements!
