Set It Off, Florida's sensational pop rock artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
Set It Off was formed in Tampa (Florida) in 2008 by vocalist Cody Carson, guitarists Dan Clermont and Zach DeWall, bassist Austin Kerr, and drummer Maxx Danziger. Over the years, their musical style has spanned many genres such as pop punk (a fusion genre that typically combines fast punk rock tempos, power chord changes and loud, distorted electric guitars with pop influenced melodies and lyrical themes), emo pop (a genre that retains emo’s confessional lyrics and cathartic energy, while embracing more pop oriented influences to create sound that blends youthful angst with slick production and mainstream appeal), post punk revival (genre of alternative rock and indie rock that developed in the late 1990s and early 2000s, inspired by the original sounds and aesthetics of garage rock of the 1960s and new wave and post-punk of the 1980s), and pop rock (a genre that originated in the 1950s, influenced by the beat, arrangements, and style of rock and roll but with a greater emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft). They’ve had a stellar career with 4 studio albums, 4 extended plays, and 22 singles. The band currently consists of Cody, Dan, Zach, and drummer Maxx Danziger.
