Sorority Noise, Connecticut's sensational emo and pop punk artists are bringing their signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
Sorority Noise was formed in Hartford (Connecticut) in 2013 by singer/guitarist Cameron Boucher. He recruited drummer Charlie Singer, bassist Ryan McKenna, and second guitarist Adam Ackerman to complete the line up and they released their debut extended play (Young Luck) shortly thereafter. Their musical style is best described as a blend of emo (a loosely categorized rock music genre characterized by expressive and often confessional lyrics), pop punk (a fusion genre that typically combines fast punk rock tempos, power chord changes and loud, distorted electric guitars with pop influenced melodies and lyrical themes), and indie rock (a genre of alternative rock that originated in the United States and the United Kingdom in the 1980s, encapsulating the genres chamber pop, indie pop, lo fi, math rock, neo psychedelia, post punk revival, sadcore, and shoegaze). They’ve had a stellar career with 3 studio albums, 3 split albums (with Somos, Radiator Hospital, and The World Is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die), 4 extended plays, and they've toured with Citizen, Great Grandpa, and Foxing. The band currently consists of Cameron (guitar and vocals), Ryan (bass and vocals), Adam (guitar and vocals), and Charlie Singer (drums).
Don't miss your chance to see the artists who fuse together bits of emo, pop punk, and mellow indie rock!
