The Dear Hunter

The Dear Hunter, Rhode Island’s sensational progressive rock artists are bringing their signature sounds to Paradise Rock Club!

The Dear Hunter started in Providence in 2005 as a side project of Casey Crescenzo when he was lead vocalist of rock band The Receiving End of Sirens. He began the project to bring to life the music he’d written that didn't fit with the band's musical style. He said in an interview, “The idea was to take the creative overflow from The Receiving End of Sirens and bottle it up into something that I could keep with me. There was never a plan to take it on the road, or to release it. It was only when things with them went awry that I was given the opportunity to really make it into a traditional sort of thing.” The project turned into a band after he was asked to leave The Receiving End of Sirens in 2006. Since then the band’s line-up has featured many musicians and it currently consists of Casey (vocals, piano, guitar, bass, arrangements, direction), Nick Crescenzo (drums, percussion, vocals), Robert Parr (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Nick Sollecito (bass), Maxwell Tousseau (guitar, keyboards, aux percussion, vocals), and Gavin Castleton (keyboards, vocals). The band’s latest album (Act V: Hymns with the Devil in Confessional) comes out on 9th September 2016.

Don’t miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to progressive rock!
