Sensational emo and melodic hardcore artists The Early November and The Movielife are bringing their signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
The Early November was formed in (Hammonton) New Jersey in 2001 by vocalist Arthur "Ace" Enders, guitarist Jim Sacco, bassist Sergio Anello, and drummer Jeff Kummer. The band's been through a few line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Ace (vocals and rhythm guitar), Joseph Marro (guitar, keyboard, and piano), "Ultra" Bill Lugg (lead guitar), Sergio (bass), and Jeff (drums). Their musical style is best described as a blend of emo (a loosely categorized rock music genre characterized by expressive and often confessional lyrics), post hardcore (a punk rock music genre that derives from hardcore punk but emphasises a greater degree of creative expression initially inspired by post punk and noise rock), pop punk (a fusion genre that typically combines fast punk rock tempos, power chord changes and loud, distorted electric guitars with pop influenced melodies and lyrical themes), and indie rock. They've had a stellar career with 5 studio albums, 3 extended plays, and 3 demo tapes. The Movielife is a melodic hardcore, pop punk, and emo band consisting of Evan Baken (drums), Vinnie Caruana (lead vocals), Dan Navetta (guitar), Phil Navetta (bass), and Brandon Reilly (guitar). They've released 3 studio albums and their latest one (Cities in Search of a Heart) comes out in September 2017.
Don't miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to emo and melodic hardcore music!
