Turkuaz, Brooklyn’s sensational funk artists, are bringing you their modern take on classic funk as they tour venues nation-wide. The venue & date for their performance are Paradise Rock Club (967 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston) & 2nd April 2016 (9 PM).

The band was formed in 2008 as a side project of Dave Brandwein and Taylor Shell who later recruited 7 of their musician friends to become the current funk monstrosity that is Turkuaz. They’ve had 2 independent album releases & performed up, down and across the US to an ever-growing fan base. Their latest album (Digitonium) has a playful sound harking back to the best of 80s dance music and gives them access to a more mainstream audience.
