Sensational indie rock supergroup Two Tongues is bringing its signature sounds to Paradise Rock Club!
Two Tongues was formed in 2008 and is a side project formed by members of indie rock, emo, and pop punk bands Say Anything and Saves the Day. The line up consists of Say Anything members Max Bemis (vocals, guitar) and Coby Linder (drums), Saves the Day member Chris Conley (vocals, guitar), and former Saves the Day guitarist Dave Soloway (bass guitar). Max, Chris, and Coby first met when they did a cover version of Bob Dylan's "The Man In Me" for the 2006 compilation album Paupers, Peasants, Princes and Kings: The Songs of Bob Dylan. Max asked Chris about recording an album together and Chris replied by saying, “I would do it with no one else, nothing could be more epic!” Their musical style combines that of both Saves the Day and Say Anything, resulting in a spirited blend of indie rock and emo pop. They self produced their eponymous debut album and released it in 2009 and the following year, they made their performance debut by surprising fans in the middle of Say Anything's set on each night of the Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything and Saves the Day tour. Their latest album (Two Tongues 2) comes out in October 2016.
Don’t miss your chance to see these artists add a unique touch to indie rock, emo, and pop punk!
