Yung Gravy, Minnesota's sensational hip hop artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!

Yung Gravy (birth name Matthew Hauri) was born in Rochester (Minnesota) in 1996 and is a rapper and lyricist. While his musical style can be broadly classified as hip hop, it's best described as a blend of alternative rap (a style that encompasses the wide range of hip hop styles that aren’t mainstream and draws from funk and rock, as well as jazz, soul, country, electronic, and even folk music), left field hip hop (a genre – straddling the line between rap and electronica – that’s a producer's style rather than an MC's, with the emphasis placed more on the perfect beat than the perfect rhyme), underground rap (a label used to refer to rappers who are brazenly anti commercial and/or proudly independent, indifferent to the exposure promised by major label promotion and distribution), and Midwest hip hop (a regional genre of hip hop music - performed by artists from the Midwestern United States - that, in contrast with its East Coast, West Coast and Southern counterparts, has very few constants in style or production). He’s had a stellar career 1 mix tape, 4 extended plays, 5 singles, and he's collaborated with fellow rapper Lil Baby.
