Badfish, the most original Sublime tribute band of all time are bringing their signature Sublime experience to the Paradise Rock Club!
Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime consists of 6 members who re-create the Sublime concert experience with remarkable accuracy. The line up consists of Joel Hanks (bass), Scott Begin (drums), Pat Downes (vocals, guitar), Dorian Duffy (keys, guitars, samples), and Ben Schomp (horns, keys, guitars). They were students at the University of Rhode Island and formed the band there in 2001. They named the band after a song on Sublime’s debut studio album 40oz. to Freedom and started to play at Rhode Island clubs. It wasn’t long before they were selling out local shows and as their popularity grew, they began touring all over the East Coast and the Midwest. They were especially popular with college aged Sublime fans who never got to see the band live because of Bradley Nowell (Sublime’s founder, lead singer, and guitarist) passing away in 1996. In 2006, Badfish played 152 shows all over the country, totalling just under 100,000 tickets sold and a revenue of $1.4 million. They’ve performed at many renowned venues (Toronto Opera House, Starland Ballroom, House of Blues in Chicago, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas,) and events (Hoodwink festival and Shwagstock). They’ve established themselves not only as the premier Sublime tribute band but one of the most famous and recognizable tribute bands in the entire country.
Don’t miss your chance to see these artists bring you a truly authentic Sublime experience!
