Sensational hardcore bands Turnstile and Touché Amoré are bringing their signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
Turnstile was formed in Baltimore in 2010 by vocalist Brendan Yates, bassist Franz Lyons, drummer Daniel Fang, and guitarists Brady Ebert and Sean Cullen. Their musical style is best described as a blend of hardcore punk (a sub genre of punk rock that began in the late 1970s and is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock) and punk metal (a fusion of hardcore punk and thrash metal that came to prominence during the mid 1980s and featured bands that generally had more technique than the average hardcore outfit, but their riffs weren't quite as intricate as the average thrashers, and their song structures were often more straightforward). They’ve had a stellar career with 2 studio albums, 3 extended plays, 1 demo tape, 5 singles, and they've also toured with alternative rock band Superhaven and pop punk band New Found Glory. Their latest album (Time and Space) peaked at #12 on the UK Rock Albums chart and was a top 15 hit on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Albums, Hard Rock Albums, and Vinyl Albums charts. The band currently consists of Brady (lead guitar), Daniel (drums and percussion), Franz (bass guitar and vocals), Pat McCrory (rhythm guitar), and Brendan (lead vocals)
