Bogie (tenor saxophone and alto saxophone), Marcos J. Garcia (guitar and vocals), Eric Biondo (trumpet), Marcus Farrar (shekere and vocals), Nikhil P. Yerawadekar (bass guitar and guitar), Kevin Raczka (drums), Rey de Jesus (congas), Raymond "Evil Ray" Mason (trombone), Will Rast (organ, electric pianos, and synthesizers), Timothy Allen (guitar), Kevin Raczka (drums), Jas Walton (tenor saxophone), Joseph Woullard (tenor saxophone), Raja Kassis (guitar), Doug Berns (bass), and Jeff Pierce (trombone and trumpet). While their musical style can be broadly classified as Afro beat (a genre - created by Nigerian multi instrumentalist and bandleader Fela Kuti, partially as an attempt to distinguish his music from the "soul music" of American artists such as James Brown - based on a combination of West African musical styles, such as highlife and yoruba, with American funk and jazz, with a focus on chanted vocals and percussion), it also includes elements of jazz, funk, dub, and traditional drumming from Cuba and West Africa. They've had a stellar career with 5 studio albums.
