Pat Green, Texas’ sensational country artist is bringing his signature sounds to the Paradise Rock Club!
Patrick Craven "Pat" Green was born in San Antonio in 1972 and is a songwriter, guitarist, and singer. He began his musical journey by doing local gigs when he was in college and it wasn’t long before he was writing his own songs. His musical style is best described as a blend of contemporary country (a subgenre of country music that primarily draws from classic honky tonk, but also boasts all the advantages of updated production techniques and equipment, proving that pure country music can sound authentic yet modern), Texas country (a subgenre of country music known for fusing traditionalist root sounds with the outspoken and care free views of outlaw country), and he cites Robert Earl Keen, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Willie Nelson as his main influences. He went on to have a stellar career with 7 studio albums (6 of which were top 10 hits on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart), 2 live albums, 1 split album (with Texas country singer and songwriter Cory Morrow), 18 singles (one of which hit #3 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart), and he’s collaborated with Radney Foster and Josh Abbott Band. His music has also been featured on the compilation album A Very Special Acoustic Christmas
